I am intrigued by Tun Mahathir’s statement about Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. The former Malaysian Premier claimed that the former Malaysian Deputy Premier “can convince even the Devil to follow him”. Well, Anwar surely failed to convince Mahathir in 1998. That could mean that Mahathir is not a devil hence the reason why he was not convinced… Or it could mean that he is even smarter than the devil not to be influenced.
Now is that a bad thing or a good thing? I use to think that only the Devil would influence us to do bad things and not the other way round...
Anyhow, we need not worry too much as the Devil is safely locked up for one whole month starting yesterday. So this means that any sin that we commit for the next month is without the influence of the devil.
Argh!!! This also means that any bad things that we do are initiated by our own accord.
Shame shame shame...
